    1. The Account is a brilliant, intense thriller, that starts out introducing a young man, Steven Renner, who has always seemed to remain at the cusp of his family's expectations. He is enticed by money, sex and a promising future, when a firm makes him an offer he can't refuse. After his suspicions become peaked, he begins to do some investigating on his own and becomes quickly engulfed by a whirlwind of crime and deceit, in a world where nothing is what it seems. Laced with sex, humor and an in de [...]

    2. The Firm goes Wall StreetI needed to take a shower after this book. It’s a taut thriller where an (probably) unsuspecting Wall Street lawyer gets lured into working for a shady new brokerage firm. The salary is huge, the perks are amazing and the trading is insider. It’s the unseemly underbelly of the stock market that you hope doesn’t really exist. This story is too big to fail and has more twists than a New York pretzel.

    3. I could not put this book down. I work in the financial industry and found the story so realistic. As with Mueck's first book, I was surprised with the twists and turns of a well developed storyline. I have become a fan of Alex Mueck and hope he continues his writing. I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys likable characters, and an interesting and well written plot.

    4. Does for Wall Street what the Firm did for law offices. Started a bit slow, but once you get to some crazy dungeon nightclub, the book gets interesting. The end was a total surprise

    5. "The Account" is a great read. It is a high paced story full of twists and turns. It will have you questioning every charector's motivations and true intentions right up to its exciting conclusion.
